Why can I not reply to comments on jalopnik?
And why can I still not log into jalopnik on my iPhone?
I use an iMac desktop unit

Oh bloody hell, that crap isn’t starting all over again is it?
For me, when I click on a notification, it takes me to the liked or commented on comment and then goes right back up to the top of the page for me to scroll down to to see what was typed. Grrrr.
I hope yours is a brief glitch mate.

Because they’ve never heard of a sandbox and test in a live environment.

Have you tried emptying/clearing cookies and browser history and deleting any shortcuts (making note of the shortcuts to type into Google afterwards).
I did it when I couldn’t log (or like as you say, could log into OPPO, but would log me out of Jalopnik, then back into OPPO when I came back to it) in and it did worked for me .

For me, i find that it’s usually my pop up blocker that’s causing some issue. Since Oppo doesn’t have pop ups, commenting works okay

I also cannot log into Jalopnick on mobile. Oppo works fine. Logging into Jalopnik works fine on my in Chrome on desktop but not Safari . I assume it’s cookies or an extension or something like that.

Deleting cookies fixed it for me
Worth a shot for yourself

Can you use Chrome on iPhone? I’d use that. I’m usually a Firefox on Android kinda guy, but Oppo is best on Chrome.

I use Firefox, but often switch to Chrome so Oppo will work.

Thanks. I should try. I’m so used to Safari that I always forget Chrome is there on the iPhone. Meanwhile I just use Chrome on the desktop mac.
